Analyze, Plan, Design, Architect and document enterprise IT-Telecom Solutions/Infrastructure Integration
2 Drive the definition and development of architectural structures that span across capability and technology domains.
3 Review and evaluate Infrastructure Current State and Recommend improvement plan.
4 Lead efforts in designing technical strategy, direction and approach, architecture, standards, technical reliability and flexibility.
5 Define, Communicate and enforce Architectural Standards
6 Enforce Architecture Governance Process for Infrastructure
7 Ensure Security of all key interfaces and integration points.
8 Provide Consulting services to all IT related Integration projects
Role Description:
1. Investigate, Compilation, design representation/modeling of current logical and Physical business Data Assets, their structures, their relationship and interrelationship, business values, uses, security, users and owners. (Present State Data map, Data Flow, location, activities, growth rate, storage requirements etc).
2. Design of desired future business Data/Information Architecture, standard and guidelines.
3. Information/Data flow analysis and Architecture maintenance/management, Guide data/information investments and deployment.
4. Information/Data Trend analysis/evaluation for fitness/benefits/adoption/impact
5. Ensure that the Infrastructure Integration Architecture is developed to Standards required for business effectiveness and agility.
6. Ensure all IT-Telecom Integration Infrastructure are documented and updated at all times.
7. Ensure all IT Infrastructure Integration is agile, dynamic and fit for future Business requirements.
8. Ensure Compliance to set Architecture standards.
9. Develop Roadmap for the implementation of defined and approved architecture
10. Develop an Enterprise Architecture of the organization systems, data, business, process, technology and skills – a blueprint that serve as a basic for managing future changes/business agility requirements.
11. Provide an holistic view of the enterprise capabilities, weakness and opportunity
12. Affording optimal use and re-use of IT Investment/minimizing duplication
13. Security and dependability, data integrity, consistency
14. Providing standards, guidelines and processes to control the enterprise technology development and management.
15. Effective Budgeting and Approval Board Process
16. Planning for Upgrading and expansion
17. Effective Reporting Process with 100% accuracy
Requirement for Suitable Candidates:
1 Qualification
ü A Bachelors degree in Computer Sciences.
ü Possession of one or more globally recognized certifications in related Information Technology fields will be a distinct advantage.
ü Certification in Enterprise Architecture practice desirable.
ü Certification in Project Management.
2 Experience
ü 3 years Post NYSC relevant technical experience.
ü Overall Understanding of Enterprise Architecture Principles
ü Good understanding of GSM and related Telecommunication standards and infrastructure.
ü Expert Understanding of Application Integration Infrastructures
ü In-depth knowledge of Service Oriented Architecture concepts/paradigm, application and benefits
ü Experience managing key IT or Telecom Infrastructure.
ü Systems Engineering/Development of multi-tier applications with extensive scripting and data-based applications
ü Over 3 years experience in a Telecom/GSM sector and Information Technology
ü Understanding of project management.
